Pregnancy may improve symptoms of intersticial cystitis.

Women with interstitial cystitis, a kind of inflammation that affects the bladder with no relation to infection, tend to improve symptoms of pain and urgency to urinate while pregnant.
A study showed that pregnant and breastfeeding women complain less of pain and, despite the increased urinary rhythm common in pregnancy, they refered improvement in urinary urgency. But unfortunately symptoms eventually returned to pregestational levels for most (63%) women after a mean of 27 weeks:http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/813719
